When every other countries have closed down their borders against strangers yet Nigeria still open to the strangers from 13 sanctioned countries of the world.
Recently Ministers for aviation declared three Nigeria Airports shut down till further notice while three international Airport still open to service and not allow flight from 13 countries with high risk of COVID-19.
It is an unfortunate situation that Nigeria may experience the spread of the corona virus due to the negligence of leadership and corruption. According to opinion poll it would be disastrous if there is out break of corona virus in Nigeria whereby little no or little value is placed on life. To the leadership of the day, life of the cow is more important than human life.
Meanwhile, to control the spread and contain the effects on Nigerians, government has announced the closing down of all youth orientation camps and also all schools in the state should close down include churches and any gathering of people above fifty for thirty days.
Social orientation campaign and awareness programs are already saturating the media. Everybody should maintain hygiene; washing of hand, cover your nose in the public, keep five meter distance, avoid handshake and hugging and many more.
